Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, but this year Christmas morning was the most memorable of my life. Since we got home from Paducah late on Christmas Eve, the boys did not wake up until around 8 am. Sam was the first to wake up and the first words out of his mouth were, "Did Santa come?" " I think he did we replied!" Sam ran with excitement into Ben's room to wake him up before going to the living room to find their Santa bags waiting under the tree for them. The oo's and ah's along with their smiles ear to ear made me feel blessed.
After they played with their new toys, we hurried to church and then to Gran Gran's house for Christmas dinner and more presents! Ben finally collapsed around 3 pm and Sam decided he had too many toys to play to sleep! Pap and Gram came out later that afternoon to see all the toys Santa delivered and Sam enjoyed showing Gram his new dinosaur puppets! They were definitely two peas in a pod with their imagination!
I always feel blessed by Jesus as he has done so much in my life and I know he will do so much more.
