Snuggle Bugs

As we all know, Matt has a love for reading and he has definitley passed the love of books to Sam.  Every night, we read books about dinosaurs, trains, bears, but this week his favorite book to read is the "fact" book about ocean animals.  Thankfully Sam hasn't figured out that I am not reading all the words on the page or I would be up half the night!  

I love playing with my boys, but putting them in their pajamas, reading, and snuggling is a very special time!  Now that Ben is a little older, he likes to read with us and look at the pictures! 

Swords and Smiles

We were teased with Spring weather last weekend, but Mr. Winter has reappeared. This past week, the weather was cold and damp, so we spent a lot of time hanging out around home! One afternoon, I came home to find this...

Matt and Sam were both smiling ear to ear as they chased each other around the house! I am glad the swords are just made out of foam, becuase this little fellow was in the living room watching it all! He never took his eye off the "fighters" and was laughing the entire time!!

After 30 minutes of non-stop running and playing, Daddy was tired! Sam on the other hand couldn't understand why they had to stop! Matt tried to convince Sam to let him rest for a little while, but that didn't go over very well!!
