Batman

It is nice when the two of them play together!   I love to sit back and listen to their conversations and watch Sam show Ben how to play "good guys vs. bad guys!"

Animal Tales

Tonight we went to a birthday party with animals.  Sam has been looking forward to this night since we received the invitation!  The pamphlet said the program would feature birds, mammals, reptiles and other creatures from across the globe.  Sam has been trying to figure out what he would see!

Sam had an amazing time and was thrilled that he was able to be "hands on" throughout the whole presentation.  His favorite was the boa constrictor.  It was over 10 feet long and it took four kids to hold it, but the kids were not scared at all!

Dr. Suess

Aunt Stacy made both boys an adorable Dr. Suess hat for Christmas!  When they came in the mail, Sam and Ben wore them for hours and then Sam wanted Daddy to take a picture with him.  I do not have a crafty bone in my body, but I wish I did!  They are adorable!    I haven't heard for sure, but I hope Seven Oaks Preschool has a Dr. Suess Day!  Sam would love to show his hat off to his friends!  I think I will borrow Ben's and wear it to Farmington!  My students would get a kick out of it!

Cherry Pie

Ben is always on the move, but occasionally he will slow down and watch Umi-Zoomi with his Daddy.  He loves to sit in his lap and discuss the show.  He talks and sings through the entire thing and if you take your eyes off the show for one minute he takes his hand and moves your head back into position.  He wants to make sure you don't miss anything!

He also loves his cherry pies!  Every night he asks for one after supper, but I only give him one during the week and one on the weekend!  He takes in every bite and doesn't move or talk while he is eating it.  He savors every single bite and when he is finished (he never leaves a crumb) he usually says, "cherry pie?"  No Ben, you already had your cherry pie!  I think he would eat 3 or 4 of them if we allowed it!
