Wakey, Wakey, Eggs and Bakey

Spring Break is finally here and I can't wait to wake up to this little monster every morning!  The only plans I have is to stay around the house, sleep in, and snuggle with the three cutest boys on the planet.  

When Sam wakes up first, he loves to scream, "Wakey, Wakey, Eggs and Bakey!"  I hope it is at least 8:00 before I hear these words!!

Spring 2013

Having the boys pictures taken is always an adventure!  Tracie Mahan always does an amazing job although she probably cringes when she sees us coming!  I love how she captures their unique personalities.  Sam is always quiet, sweet, and wants everything to be just so-so.  Ben on the other hand is like Burger King.  He wants it his way or the highway!  

Most of their time is spent wrestling or fighting with each other.  It seems like the rougher they get, the happier they are.  I finally have decided to ignore them and let them work it out on their own! 

Sam loves to put his hand around Ben, but as you can see...Ben hates it!!

I sometimes wonder...how can two brothers have such opposite personalities!!  Ben was obviously not getting what he wanted!

Sparkle

I love to watch the sparkle in Ben's eyes.  He is always on the go and is into everything.  He loves to play chase, tag, dinosaurs, and everything else his big brother likes to play.  When he falls down, he says, "I'm otay!" and will say it over and over until you recognize that he is okay!  He likes to cuddle and loves to be read to, but it is hard to get him to stay still for longer than 5 minutes.  We get our snuggle time in during short periods of time, but it is always special!
