Easter Weekend

Easter is always a day of rejoicing, but today was an exceptionally good Easter.  The weather was beautiful, we were together with family, and the boys didn't argue all day!

Before church, the boys enjoyed their Easter baskets.  Since neither one of them like candy, their baskets were filled with bubbles, chalk, and water guns.  The boys were very excited!

After church, everyone came back to our house for lunch and then the boys hunted Easter eggs in the front yard.  We all sat under the tree and talked for the afternoon.  It was nice to just relax and visit with family.  The boys also enjoyed everyone being together.  Before bedtime, I asked Sam what his favorite part of the day was and he said, "I loved my family all being at my house!"  He is such a family guy and his such a homebody!

For Christmas, the boys got UK sweatshirts from Uncle Buddy and Aunt Ann.  On the day UK played in the final 4, the boys wore their shirts to support their team.  I am sure they were the cutest UK fans around!

It seems we never get our picture made together, but we snapped one before going to chaperone the Homecoming Dance.

Sam loves to put together legos with his daddy.  Ben likes to get right in the middle of the legos and make a mess!

Ben's favorite drink is sweet tea.  Apparently he wanted some and we didn't get it for him fast enough.  He helped himself to the gallon jug and turned it up.  I am glad it was almost empty!

In the middle of the winter when there is not anything else to do, we camp out in the living room!

The boys have discovered how to play Super Mario against each other!

The boys enjoyed their Valentines Day gift from us.  They will never realize how much they are loved!

MeMom made the boys a rocket ship house.  It kept them busy for a few days!

When it was finally warm enough to go outside, it was hard to get Ben back inside!  He loves to play outside!

Picture Catch-up

Since I take so many pictures of the boys, I do not print them all.  I have found I print a ton of 4 x 6 pictures and then file them away into picture albums which are then put into drawers or closets.  Instead I include them into my blog and then print them into books for the boys to have as keepsakes.  Life has been so busy lately, I haven't added all my cute pictures.  I am going to add lot of pictures tonight so I can get caught up!

Sam and Ben enjoying their Christmas pajamas!

Ben's favorite breakfast is cinnamon oatmeal.  Here lately he is determined to eat it himself, but he usually wears 1/2 of it!

Every year, Keith Lowery invites us to his shop to play and visit with Santa Claus.  Both boys had a great time playing on the tractors and the bouncy houses.  Sam was also very excited to visit with Santa and tell him everything he wanted for Christmas.  As you can see, Ben was not very happy to be sitting in his lap!
