Beggs Family Farm

We started our Fall Break with a trip to Missouri.  Beggs Family Farm is the best place to take young children to enjoy Fall activities!  We stayed all day and needless to say, we were worn out when we left!
This was the huge rocking chair Ben wanted to sit in when he got tired!  He asked if we could take it home and put it on our front porch!  Unfortunately, he didn't understand it wouldn't fit in the car and it wouldn't fit on our porch!

This was our first stop.  Both boys thought it was funny to ride the inflatable horses.  Sam did pretty good, but Ben could not figure out how to keep balanced.  He tumbled over every time he started riding!

The horse wore them out, so our next stop was the animal train.  We rode this a few times throughout the day!

Sam rode these cars, but it was one of Ben's favorites.  As Ben rode the cars, Sam became attached to the animals around.  The donkey was his favorite!

Ben with a golf club is dangerous!

This was another favorite.  After they both figured out how to milk the cow, they started wanting to squirt each other!
Sam told me he wanted to ride this slide, but I didn't think he would do it.  He climbed to the top by himself and he actually went down!  I thought he would chicken out!

After Sam went down it, we couldn't get him to stop.  He went down it over and over and over!  We wanted Ben to try, but he said he was too scared!  Matt talked him into going with him and after the first slide we couldn't get Ben off of it either!

Our next stop was the bouncer.  The boys had a great time on this.  Sam wanted to tumble to the bottom and Ben wanted to see how high he could jump!
Ben is definitely a Momma's boy!

Sam really wanted to ride the pedal cars by himself, but he quickly realized how hard it was to push.  With the help of Daddy, the went around the track several times!

The spider's web was a great climbing place.  Sam loves to climb, so this was perfect for him.  Ben just wanted to see how tied up he could get in the web!

I wasn't able to get many pictures of the fort, but it fun.  It had hiding places, tunnels, slides, ladders, and peep holes to search for the "bad guys" they were running from!

What a wonderful idea....a corn pit!  This kept them busy for a while, but it didn't take me long to realize my allergies didn't like it!

We had duck races, but Daddy always won!
Sam hit the pumpkin ball and decided we needed one at home!
 There were slides everywhere!
We weren't able to pass up the camel rides!

Inside the corn maze, Sam decided he wanted to be the leader.  After a while, Ben decided we were lost and told Sam over and over that we should just stop and ask for directions.  Of course, the more Ben insisted we were lost, the more determined Sam was to find our way out!

We caught the last hay ride to the pumpkin patch.  Since we already visited and bought pumpkins from the Darnell Pumpkin Patch, we just went to look.

The last two pictures are of the boys watching the pig races.  Our boys were so focused and determined our pig had to win.  I am glad the little blue pig decided to run fast!   He won both races, so Sam decided we were good luck!

We couldn't have picked a better day to come explore the farm.  The weather was chilly and it was very windy, but we all agreed Fall weather was our favorite.  I enjoyed the day because we went the whole day without phones, internet, and we didn't run into anyone we knew.  It was just our sweet family and we had a wonderful time!  Oh the memories we made.....
