Easter is always a day of rejoicing, but today was an exceptionally good Easter. The weather was beautiful, we were together with family, and the boys didn't argue all day!
Before church, the boys enjoyed their Easter baskets. Since neither one of them like candy, their baskets were filled with bubbles, chalk, and water guns. The boys were very excited!
After church, everyone came back to our house for lunch and then the boys hunted Easter eggs in the front yard. We all sat under the tree and talked for the afternoon. It was nice to just relax and visit with family. The boys also enjoyed everyone being together. Before bedtime, I asked Sam what his favorite part of the day was and he said, "I loved my family all being at my house!" He is such a family guy and his such a homebody!
