Christmas Eve 2010 started at Gram and Pap's house and within 15 minutes of our visit, both boys were asleep! I hated they didn't get to visit long, but was excited that they would both have energy to last through the eventful night! It was also nice being able to visit with my parents without interruptions! The weather had taken a turn for the worse and before we left, it was sleeting and snowing! As we loaded into the truck, Sam was upset that we had snow on us!
Did you know that cows need Christmas lights too? Sam thinks it is a hoot to drive past the Elliot's farm becuase they have lights on their milking barn! Last night, the barn was lit up and the cows had their noses stuck out of the side! He ooed and awed and thought it was the neatest thing ever! It took us a little longer than usual because of the slick roads, but we finally made it to Uncle Buddy and Aunt Ann's house. We ate supper, went to church, and then came back for Sam's favorite part....PRESENTS!! He definitely showed an interest in his gifts....or should I say everyone's gifts! Not only did he want to open the ones with his name on them, he wanted to help everyone unwrap! We told him he was lucky this year becuase he was able to open Ben's! We had a blast! At first, Sam didn't want to put the paper on the floor, but after the first few, he started ripping into them and throwing the remains in the floor!
