We left the house before the sun came up today in hopes of taking care of Ben's ear problems. Needless to say, we should have known we were hurrying just to wait!! We checked in at 5:30 am, like we were instructed...but so did 20 other people!! After going through all the "hoops" we finally arrived to pediatric outpatient just to find out that we were to report at the crack of dawn, but Ben's doctor would arrive at 8:00 am!!
We did have to wait and wait, but once the doctor arrived, they took Ben back and the procedure was completed within 20 minutes. I was glad to see the doctor again and felt relieved when he said Ben did great. There was fluid still behind one of his ears, but he said that should dry up soon.
Ben didn't like waking up after anesthesia, but he did great the rest of the afternoon. I think Gram enjoyed rocking and holding him the majority of the day! By this afternoon he was laughing and smiling like nothing had ever happened!
One of these days, I will figure out how to turn pictures around on Blogger....
