Tuck the Turtle and Our Little Pumpkin

Halloween 2010 was a blast!  Sam wanted to be Tuck the Turtle from the Wonderpets which seemed like the hardest outfit to find!  We looked everywhere, but could not find one his size...not even on the Internet.  Finally, Gram came to the rescue and found one on Amazon for us!  He loved it, but wasn't to fond of the headpiece.  Not that Ben cared, but we also dressed him in a pumpkin outfit!

On Saturday, we went to Paducah and trick-or-treated with family.  Our first stop was Pap and Gram's house.  Sam didn't really understand how to trick-or-treat, but his bucket filled up fast!  We have read our Halloween books several times!  We then went to Uncle Buddy & Aunt Ann's house and the Rushing crew loved seeing both boys!

By the time it was time for trunk-or-treat at church, Sam had trick-or-treating down pat.  Memom, Grandaddy, Uncle Mark, and Gran Gran made sure to fill his bucket up and he was ready for more!  Halloween night was the first time Sam seemed interested in money, so when he opened up his card from Gran and Memom, he was excited!  He kept saying he wanted to "feed" his piggy!  With a newborn and a 2 year old, trunk-or-treating is the way to go!  Sam had fun with his friends and having all the cars right in one stop was nice!  "Trick-or-treat" he would say as they filled up his bucket.  Sometime he would say "thank you" and walk to the next car...sometimes he would look at them and say "more please"......

Needless to say he was VERY hyper..and here is how the night ended...
